A report by the united Nations Children's fund (UNICEF) has Nigeria's current numbér of child's brides at 22 million  which is said to represent 40 per cent of such cases in West Africa and Central Africa and also predicted that 7 million more child bride will be added by 2050.

Many girls are given out in marriage before they turn 18 and this is clearly a violation of human right.

For the future of girls, it's important to domesticate the Child Right Act at all levels.
